Our Sustainability
RAY Oil & Gas L.L.C received several recognitions from their clients and the industry for their exemplary HSE performance and contribution. Amongst the most significant recognition received was the ‘Safety Through Innovation” award program run by Oxy Oman. Since the introduction of this award program in 2015, RAY Oil & Gas never failed to submit the Safety Through Innovation ideas and receive awards every year. Our biggest achievement by far in this program was in 2018 where we submitted 7 proposals and 6 were approved and awarded. Of all the submissions in 2018 (both from Oxy and their contractors), 2 were selected as the “Best Innovation”, 1 of which was a submission by RAY Oil & Gas L.L.C.
RAY Oil & Gas also participate actively to raise the HSE standards for the Oil & Gas industry in Oman through OPAL where our HSE Manager was a member of the work group to develop the National Occupational Standards for HSE Professionals. His contribution, with other HSE Managers from Oil Operators and Contractors, was appreciated and recognized by OPAL and Ministry of Oil & Gas, Oman and he was conferred with a trophy of recognition.
To sustain the HSE performance of the company and recognizing the employees’ contribution toward this goal, RAY Oil & Gas implemented several recognition schemes and initiatives. This includes the annual HSE milestone award, Monthly Best SAFE report award, Safety Man of the Month award, Best Driver award and the Rig & RSR Champion award program. For these programs, individual employees are awarded with cash vouchers and gifts respectively.
In addition, RAY Oil & Gas also received recognition plaque for the HSE milestone achievement from the clients on many occasions.
To maintain the standard, RAY Oil & Gas management systems (HSE and Quality) are also certified to ISO 9001 for the Quality Management System and OSHAS 18001. As of 2022 the company is an API Spec Q2 (1st Edition) certified company.

Our commitment encompasses health and safety risks in the office and other facilities, such as laboratories and workshops out in the field, when traveling on company business and at home.
Our HSE Management System defines the principles by which we conduct our operations internationally, our management team applies rigorous policies and standards throughout the company. Nothing is more important to us than ensuring that our employees, contractors, and customers get home safely to their families at the end of each day.
We have a long-standing commitment to sharing our HSE leadership and best practices through technical papers, active involvement with industry trade associations and specialist HSE organizations, and other means.
